Dear Branch Steward: Please keep the national and regional officers of NWSEO informed about the usefulness of this manual. It is our hope that this manual will serve your needs in your role as administrator of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and representative of the bargaining unit. It is unlikely that the average steward will use all of the information contained herein, but it is my hope that the material will answer many questions that come up on a regular basis. The material will also give you a good background in Labor Management Relations (LMR), allow you to become a proficient steward, and provide references for additional information, or at least help you develop the right questions to ask in order to obtain necessary information.
